I’m Attorney Stephanie G. Johnson — but my neighbors call me Stephanie.
I live in the City of South Fulton now, and I was actually raised here from the age of four.
I graduated from Westlake High School. South Fulton is where I grew up, messed up, and got stronger. I went off to college and then to law school to become an attorney—because I knew I wanted to fight for people who often don’t have anyone fighting for them.
I’ve been practicing for over 10 years. I started my career as a public defender—litigating and fighting for the marginalized and the underrepresented. Afterwards, I started my own law practice here in Atlanta, with a focus on protecting the custody rights of dads with children out of wedlock. Another overlooked and underserved group—especially in Georgia. My work gained traction, and I was invited to make several appearances on Court TV as a legal analyst. But being on TV didn’t change the system.
I don’t just critique broken systems—I build better ones. I moved back to South Fulton and went back to school to become a software developer so I could build a legal tech tool that makes legal help more accessible and affordable.
